Marlborough Wine & Food Festival
For a fabulous day out and the opportunity to sample some of Marlborough's finest wines & local foods, get along to the Marlborough Wine Festival. The event is held at one of Marlborough's oldest & most beautiful vineyards - Montana Brancott Estate, approximately 15 km's from Blenheim town centre. This popular annual event is held on the second Saturday in February. |

What's On
For the wine aficionados there are wine tutorials from the region's leading winemakers and viticulturist and for the budding fashionistas the very popular Thomas' Fashion in the Vines competitions. Also the supreme food and wine matching competition and fantastic entertainment from some of New Zealand's leading performers.
The festival hours are from 10:30am to 6pm. |

Other Marlborough Festival Events
Explore the magical Marlborough Sounds on the Sunday Sounds lunch cruise. Take a tour around the Marlborough Cellar doors and enjoy complimentary wine tastings & entertainment on the Sunday Wine Down. Lunch is served at a "mystery" location. See the festival website for more details.
Marlborough is New Zealand's largest winemaking region with around 110 wineries and 450 grape growers and over 12,000 hectares planted in grapes, mainly Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. |
